Droopy brows are one of the more common things that an oculoplastic surgeon deals with. It can affect your quality of life. The most common thing I hear about is heaviness and tiredness, and then, obviously, patients just don’t like the way it looks. A common complaint is people saying, ‘It’s not how I feel.’ People come up to them and say, ‘You look tired,’ when instead they’re feeling good — but their eyes or brows are droopy. Between the eyebrow position, the excess skin, and the actual weakness of the muscle, all three of those things contribute to that heaviness of the upper lids.
